1917 is living history in a bottle.

It is, quite simply, a beer created around a very special yeast – this yeast was last used commercially in St Petersburg in 1917, just before the Tzar was shot.

So fittingly, we approached local Guildford band Subsource – who are known for their revolutionary spirit – and together we brewed this beer – called 1917.

Subsource were so inspired by this, that they’ve also gone on to produce a track called 1917

It has a clean taste, some maltiness, and for a 7.4% beer it is smooth and goes down remarkably easily.

 For Scottish Highlands, Islands, and Northern Ireland the following surcharges apply:
Scottish highlands (£5.50 surcharge) as certain postcodes within IV, KW, PA, and PH. Delivery can take an additional 1 – 2 working days.
Northern Ireland (£6.50 surcharge) and delivery can take an additional 1 – 2 working days.

How Our Delivery System Works

Once we receive your order it will be processed for dispatch on the same day (prior to 3pm). You will receive an email to say that your beers are on their way

If you are not in when the beers are delivered then a contact card will be left for you with information as regards your delivery.

We strongly advise against leaving goods without a signature, and will not be held liable for any losses incurred this way. Please note that we are not permitted by law to leave alcoholic goods with anyone who cannot prove they are over 18.

We will be doing our very best to ensure that we deliver your purchase within 48hrs. We are not liable for any late deliveries. But hey, we’re not going anywhere so get in touch if there’s an issue.
